Things to Do and Sights to See in Singapore!

My friends and I are planning to go to Singapore this summer. With Cebu Pacific's All Year Round Low Fares it makes it that much cheaper to go take a trip and escape Metro Manila.

To aid us in planning our trip, I am using YourSingapore.com's guide. The site lists all of Singapore' attractions and even allows you to save them and then later on click+drag them to a 1-4 day trip planner. It's super handy! You can even share the trip you planned with your family, friends or whomever is going with you.

As an added bonus, YourSingapore.com is even rewarding new members (just signup for their newsletter) with a chance to win a brand new macbook! That's the only reason I need to sign up :P

Biggest Loser Asia Winner!

Have you seen the winner of the first ever Biggest Loser Asia? Were you even able to follow the series?
Well, my mom did. I watched only a few episodes here and there plus the finale, of course.
Gosh! I almost didn't recognize the finalists (except for Martha who was still pretty chubby, I thought) especially the winner, David Gurnani (see photo below courtesy of Yahoo! Philippines)

He got sooo thin already! Kudos to him for getting thin but quite honestly, my first thought when I saw him was he looks really sick. He looks unhealthy. It even looks like his hair thinned out, too. I think in his quest to win the prize, he took it a bit too far and didn't eat healthy anymore. Then of course, this is just my own opinion.
I watched the Biggest Loser US and the last winner, my personal favorite, Ali lost a lot of weight and although her face also thinned significantly she still looked quite healthy versus how frail David looked after his weight loss.

Carlo the runner-up in Biggest Loser Asia (our Philippine bet) looks far better and healthier than David. I wish he had one just because I believe he took a healthier route to weight loss which is why he didn't lose as much as David.
Anyhow, congratulations to David and I hope he starts eating (if he is eating) healthy and exercises in moderation.
