One of my favorite restaurants, Isabelo Garden Restaurant was just featured last Thursday at US Girls. Together with its chef owner, Portia, they made 3 delicious, fast and easy recipes using everyone's favorite sinful treat, junk food!

  • Hot Bacon and Corn Dip
  • Nova Crusted Fish Sticks
  • Mac and Cheese
I love pasta and I especially love Mac and Cheese so I'm posting the recipe for the Mac and Cheese from Portia of Isabelo Restaurant below:

MAC N' CHEESE

1lb. Macaroni elbow noodles
2 eggs
2 370ml. cans of evaporated milk
3 tsp. dijon mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp. Tabasco
2c cheddar cheese, grated
1c Parmesan cheese, grated
1c Quick melting cheese, grated

Topping:
2c crushed BBQ Nova Chips
1/4 tsp. salt
a few dashes of paprika

1. Combine crushed Nova Chips, salt and paprika in a bowl. Set aside.

2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

3. Combine cans of evaporated milk, eggs, mustard, salt, pepper, and Tabasco in a bowl and whisk together until ingredients are well-combined and eggs are completely beaten. Set aside.

4. Boil pasta in salted water. Cook as directed.

5. Once pasta is cooked, drain and transfer to a baking dish.

6. Give evaporated milk mixture a few extra whisks and then add to pasta with half of cheese, stirring over medium to medium high heat until cheese is melted. Add remaining cheese and continue stirring until thoroughly melted.

7. Transfer to a large baking dish and top with crushed Nova chips mixture. Bake on top rack of oven for 20 to 25 minutes. If you use a disposable foil pan, place a cookie sheet underneath it while baking so the bottom doesn’t burn.
